Abstract
Internet connectivity in high performance computing (HPC) systems like national super-computing facilities increase the risk of security threats. This paper presents HiPer, an end-to-end extended detection and response (XDR) solution, that detects and responds to Internet-based threats in HPC systems. The solution is incorporated into open-source software Zeek and Wazuh, and is successfully deployed at an enterprise.
